Our models

"I strive to honour Cambodian heritage."

Kanika Sopheap and Konglaipich Chiem both grew up in Cambodian provinces before earning scholarships to university in Phnom Penh. They live together, and consider themselves sisters. These exceptional young women embody the essence of Village Women Dream, and we are so lucky to have them be part of the story.

Kanika Sopheap

My name is Kanika Sopheap. I am a 19-year-old Cambodian woman from Sihanoukville. I am a third year architecture student, where I am learning to shape spaces that inspire and move others. I am passionate about art in all its forms; I love seeing creativity everywhere. For me, art is not just something to admire, but a blending of life and imagination.

I am inspired by the strength, resilience, and creativity of Cambodian women, and I strive to honour that heritage through my work and leadership. I believe true leadership is about uplifting others and helping them find their voice.

For my future, I aim to merge art, purpose, and culture, celebrating Cambodian heritage, and empowering young women to embrace their ideas and potential.

Konglaipich Chiem

My name is Konglaipich Chiem, I'm 18 years old and from Kampong Chhnang province. Moving to Phnom Penh to study has shaped me in many ways. Every challenge has helped me grow and discover more about myself

Working with Village Women Dream taught me that modelling is not only about appearance, but about connection, and storytelling. Every photo shares a message of hope, pride, and confidence. I still appreciate that.

I feel proud to be myself, to be a woman, to be my family's daughter, and to be Cambodian. I believe everyone has dreams, and I have mine too. So let's keep working together.
